A donut shop is partnering with Uber to help people celebrate Fat Tuesday by delivering paczkis all day tomorrow.

Paczki delivery

Beginning at 7 a.m., paczkis from Propaganda Donuts will be available for $20 to Uber's Grand Rapids coverage area.

Each order comes with a half dozen paczkis.

Paczkis are a traditional Polish pastry similar to a jelly donut. They come with a variety of sweet fillings.

People can request the “PACZKI” option from their Uber app to take advantage of the service.

High demand

Uber says paczkis will be available on Tuesday until supplies run out.

The ride-booking company is expecting big demand.

“If you don’t see a car in your area, keep checking your app or tweet us @Uber_MI with #UberPACZKI and your neighborhood, so we can make sure a car heads your way,” Uber says at its website.

Walk in

People can also stop in at Propaganda Donuts in downtown Grand Rapids for their Mardi Gras treat.

The shop is usually closed on Tuesdays, but it will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in honor of Mardi Gras.

In addition to paczkis, Propaganda has several other Mardi Gras-inspired pastries.
