A brewery and winery in the region are having a joint birthday party tomorrow.

Pike 51 Brewing Co. and Hudsonville Winery, both housed at 3768 Chicago Dr. in Hudsonville, are celebrating their anniversaries.

Hudsonville Winery opened in 2009, and Pike 51 has been open since 2013.

Drinks, food, live music

The party begins at noon and will feature 25 beers on tap — including 10 limited-release brews.

The drink menu will include special releases of Pike 51’s Heavy Soul beer, Hudsonville Winery’s Hooterville Cutie wine and watermelon sangria wine.

The celebration will feature live music from Jimmie Stagger, Vincent Hayes and Upstage Crew Blues Band.

A full food menu will be available, including roasted pork and chicken with homemade barbecue sauce, chips and dip, pork sandwiches, coleslaw and beans.

Admission to the anniversary party is free.

Beer and wine businesses

Joint owners Ron Snider and Steve Guikema opened Hudsonville Winery in 2009, seeing a niche for a winery in the area.

The winery’s success allowed the duo to open Pike 51 Brewing Co. in 2013, part of their 5-year plan for the business.
