A local brewery is celebrating its first full year of business.

Grand Rapids-based Creston Brewery will host its anniversary party on Saturday at the brewery, at 1504 Plainfield Ave. NE.

The party begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 1 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The brewery will celebrate with outdoor music all day, including performances by Peace to Mateo, Rick Chyme, Lady Ace Boogie and Cabildo.

A dunk tank benefiting Creston neighborhood charities will also highlight the day.

The brewery will also have food and drink specials all day, as well as raffle prizes for participants of a scavenger hunt.

The event is free and open to all ages.

The anniversary party also coincides with the Best of Creston Street Fair & Festival, which runs along Plainfield Avenue, just north of Leonard Street to Lafayette Street. The whole day features events and activities.
