You spend a lot of your time in meetings, whether internally, with grantees and applicants, with community groups or with networking events. In this 2-day workshop, focused specifically on the needs of grantmakers, you will have an opportunity to learn and practice a variety of facilitation skills and meeting design tips to make the best use of that meeting time. The workshop will draw upon organizational learning, conflict resolution and coaching frameworks to build skills to facilitate one-on-one, small group and large group meetings. Instructors are Dr. Teri Behrens and DeDe Esque of the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University.
