Michigan becomes a Freedom to Work state this spring. Not only does this law provide workers more freedom in their careers, but the statutory move is expected to enhance business growth in our state. In this presentation, you will learn how the law operates, what its impact will be with regard to union organizing and union relationships with employers, and how Michigan employers should react to the change in the law. But just as Michigan has improved the business climate for employers, our federal government is hard at work making things more difficult. You will also learn about the recent decisions of the NLRB, the significant negative impact those decisions can have on your business, and how your company can best protect itself. By the end of the presentation, you will leave with an understanding of where the NLRB is aiming next. Don't miss this opportunity to get all your questions answered concerning both Michigan's new Freedom to Work law and the federal NLRB's pro-union agenda.
