Kellogg Co. to pay $500K for Clean Air Act violations

Kellogg Co. has agreed to pay a $500,000 penalty for Clean Air Act violations in Battle Creek and Grand Rapids, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. In addition, the company will spend more than $435,000 to reduce its Volatile Organic Compound levels and will replace a cooling and dehumidifying system that currently produces greenhouse gas emissions.
