GRAND RAPIDS — Prepare the dress, tuxedo and acceptance speech, because the Ad Club of West Michigan (ACWM) is rolling out the red carpet for the 2003 ADDY Awards. And this year’s event will include all the razzle-dazzle of a real movie premiere.

Tomorrow night at 6:30, Celebration Cinema will host the 2003 ADDY Awards, which showcases the top advertising created in West Michigan over the last year.

Attendees will get a big screen look at the best in advertising creativity while rubbing elbows with the elite of the advertising business community.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Ad Club or by ordering online. For Ad Club members the price is $35 per person, an Ad Club member guest is $40, a non-member is $50 and a fulltime student is $20.

Drink tickets will be available in packets of four for $20 and $24 and are available prior to the event or at the event. Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served as well.

The awards will be presented audio-visually in the main theater and seats for that showing are $10 per person, with an eight-seat minimum. Additional viewing will be available through monitors in the wave room.

Parking is available near the west entrance and valet parking is available for a small fee.

The Ad Club of West Michigan ADDY Awards competition is the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The ADDY Awards competition is the industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

Proceeds will help support the Ad Club of West Michigan’s educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts. For more information or to register call the Ad Club at 459-9196 or go online at
