WYOMING — D&D Building recently formed Union Street Metal Fabrication with the purchase of Austin Custom Metal Fabrication, a metal fabrication company in Jenison.

Offices for D&D Building’s Union Street Metal Fabrication are being constructed at D&D Building’s corporate headquarters in Wyoming and the construction shop will be opened after the New Year.

Union Street Metal Fabrication will be run by the previous manager, Dave Austin, and all prior employees will join D&D Building in the new facility.

“D&D Building’s Union Street Metal Fabrication will enhance what we can offer our clients,” said Scott Gibson, vice president of D&D Building. “Our goal is to be able to provide hands-on metal fabrication that is on time and on budget. We have the best in the industry working hand in hand with our team.”

Union Metal Fabrication projects will include stairwells, staircases, metal carts and other related items.
