Northwood Honors DeVos
Northwood University has named Pamella DeVos one of the school’s Distinguished Women for 2007. DeVos is one of only eight female business leaders, philanthropists and educators to be recognized with the award this year.
DeVos owns the Pamella Roland designer clothing collection, a company she started in 2001. She co-founded the investment management firm DP Fox Ventures with her husband, Dan DeVos, in 1993. She also started the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation, and has been a strong supporter of the arts.
DeVos spoke at the award luncheon on Friday and was honored at the award ceremony on Saturday evening in Cedar Hill, Texas, where Northwood University maintains a residential campus.
