Everybodys doin the Local Motion
Local First handed out its second set of LocalMotion Awards during its annual meeting last week. The awards recognize outstanding contributions to the West Michigan economy by local businesses, organizations, individuals and families. In particular, the LocalMotion Awards honor those whose commitment to local business ownership, sustainability and neighborhood revitalization has had a pronounced impact on West Michigan. “The Local First LocalMotion Awards are an important part of our continuing effort to recognize and promote best practices in growing the West Michigan economy,” said Elissa Hillary, executive director of Local First.
