Videos: UM/ULI winners share their thoughts

The 26th annual University of Michigan/Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum this week in Grand Rapids honored a trio of local winners for their projects in West Michigan.

At a luncheon on Wednesday, Jonathan Rooks, Colliers International and Ferris State University/Kendall College of Art and Design all were recognized for their efforts in the real estate industry and how those projects have changed the landscape of West Michigan.

Rooks earned the Excellence in Real Estate Award for several projects on the lakeshore and in downtown Grand Rapids. Read about his award here. Colliers picked up the West Michigan Sale/Lease of the Year Award, which is highlighted here. FSU/Kendall was recognized with the West Michigan Development/Redevelopment Award for its work on the former Federal Building in Grand Rapids. More on that is available here.
