Van Andel Arena is one the top venues of its size in the country.

Two of today’s biggest music stars will be making tour stops at Van Andel Arena this summer.

The Moonshine Jungle Tour

Following his Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show — and a lengthy Australian and Asian tour — Grammy Award-winning Bruno Mars will make a stop in Grand Rapids on June 17.

Tickets for the show, which will include opening act Aloe Blacc, go on sale Feb. 3.

Mars will play the Palace of Auburn Hills the following night.

The West Michigan stop was teased on his website last month, along with 38 other cities.

The Hawaiian-born Mars has sold 58 million singles across the globe and charted four No. 1 singles in the U.S. He is up for four Grammy awards on Jan. 26.

This year, he was listed in Forbes’ “30 under 30,” and Billboard named Mars its 2013 Artist of the Year.

In 2011, Mars was named one of Time magazine’s 100 “most influential people in the world.”

Prismatic World Tour

In support of her new album, “PRISM,” Katy Perry will stop by Van Andel Arena on Aug. 10, with opening act Kasey Musgraves.

Citi card members have pre-access to tickets, beginning on Tuesday, through Citi’s Private Pass Program.

Through Tickets-for-Charity, $1 from each ticket will head to UNICEF.

The stop comes in the middle of a four month North American tour, kicking off June 22 in North Carolina.

Perry designed a special stage for the show, which includes “a truly magical experience from every angle in the arena,” according to her website.

Perry has teamed up with a number of sponsors for the tour, including Citi, Covergirl and Tickets-for-Charity.
