Eastown is takin’ it to the streets
The Eastown Street Fair celebrates its 41st anniversary on Saturday.
The annual celebration of arts, crafts, food, music and the Eastown neighborhood takes place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. along Wealthy Street between Atlas Avenue and Lake Drive.
More than 100 booths will feature Michigan artists and craftspeople.
There will be food from various Grand Rapids restaurants and vendors, including TerraGR, Love’s Ice Cream, Sandmann’s, What the Truck, Eastown Cafe, Chez Olga and more.
There will be two stages of music all day, including a main stage in the Hub Lot and a secondary stage inside Billy’s Lounge.
Performing on the main stage will be Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish, Asamu Johnson & the Associates of the Blues, Otis Blueswell Jr., PotatoeBabies, Eastown Jazz Ensemble, King Crabapple, The Glendanles Brand and Rick Chyme.
Billy’s music will last throughout the night until 1:30 a.m. and will host Bermudas, AB!, Sext Farm, Jes Kramer, Dean Martian, Flex.0, Imperial Sun Crushers and Suport.
