Agility Health names VP of IT
The new vice president of information technology at Agility Health has more than 30 years of sales and software experience and will lead a widespread product release.
Agility Health in Grand Rapids, a provider of physical rehabilitation and software services, said this month that it has named Tim Hollstein to the role.
Hollstein said the hiring process was an ongoing conversation with Steven Davidson, chief executive officer at Agility Health, and the timing finally worked out for him to join the team.
“I was very enthusiastic,” Hollstein said. “I have known Steve since 1999, and any key plan he sets his mind to, he has been able to execute effectively. I was excited to join that team.”
As VP of IT at Agility Health, Hollstein will oversee the company’s IT team and lead the commercial launch across North America of its new rehabilitation practice management software, known as AgileRPM.
“A lot of the development work has been done,” Hollstein said. “The product has been under development for a number of years and is finally ready for market, but almost none of the go-to-market work has been done. It’s time to build a marketing plan, structure contracts and pricing and then execute available marketing plans. All of those things I have done before.”
Davidson said Hollstein brings a career of experience to the IT team at the organization.
“With his knowledge and success in software product management and marketing, we believe he will be a critical asset to our team as we bring this innovative software to an estimated market size of $400 million,” Davidson said.
Previously, Hollstein served as director of sales and channel development at SalesPad in Grand Rapids, where he managed the launch and growth of software.
Hollstein was also the owner of a certified Microsoft Partner known as Vectis Technologies, which sold and implemented business accounting systems.
With his experience involved in the development and marketing of products, Hollstein said his background suits Agility Health.
“I have a pretty diverse background,” Hollstein said. “I have been heavily involved in software sales, primarily in the space known as ERP, accounting software and business software.
“I have also played roles in a number of different startup companies, where I had responsibilities for managing at a project management level: development of new systems, launch of new systems and bringing new product offerings to market.”
Agility Health operates a network of rehabilitation outpatient clinics in states across the country.
The company also provides contract services to hospitals, nursing homes and corporate clients in several areas: preventative care, work or sports-related injury treatment and software solutions.
