An IT firm is making “a strong pivot” toward the cloud.
C/D/H said this week that it has named Eric Olmstead director of infrastructure and cloud practices.
C/D/H, which has offices in Grand Rapids, Detroit and Chicago, is expecting Olmstead to consult and build a team of talent to help direct the firm’s future.
Olmstead was a consultant at the IT firm, which he joined in 2013.
“We are making a strong pivot to becoming the leader for cloud and hybrid cloud-based solutions,” said Mark Becker, partner and director of consulting services, C/D/H. “Eric Olmstead brings a depth of knowledge to the role and a commitment to realistic and staged innovation, in addition to a focus on delivering an exceptional level of service to our clients.”
Olmstead has more than 15 years of experience working with IT systems.
Previously, he served as a network systems manager at Service Brands International, director of IT at Bridge Metal Trading International and IT manager at the Hillsdale County Intermediate School District.
He holds Microsoft Certified IT Professional certifications in exchange, systems center, virtualization, enterprise administration and other specialties.
Olmstead studied IT systems administration at Stautzenberger College in Toledo, Ohio.
