A brewery in the region has earmarked more of its beer for California.

Bell’s Brewery in Galesburg said Friday that in February it will begin shipping beer to Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties in Southern California.

Bell’s already distributes to San Diego and Imperial counties in Southern California.

The new markets in California will receive the summer seasonal favorite Oberon year-round. Other markets in the brewery’s footprint receive Oberon year-round: Florida, Arizona, southern Alabama and Puerto Rico.

“We are constantly addressing capacity constraints and building on last May’s initial launch in San Diego, along with growth at our Comstock brewery — we are able to gradually increase distribution,” said Laura Bell, VP, Bell’s Brewery.
