A retailer that sells leisure products is expanding its showroom lineup by stocking its first-ever grills.

Showroom addition

Emerald Leisure Source in Grand Rapids said this month that it is now carrying Memphis Wood Fire Grills, made by Hearthland Products in Bloomington, Minn.

The stores sells leisure and entertainment products, such as pools, spas, billiard tables, recreation room furniture and other accessories.

Katie Westfall, manager, Emerald Leisure Source, said that “many” customers have “expressed interest in grilling products,” and the store is “always looking” to add to its showroom.

“We like to offer items that are made in the U.S., instead of imported, but we also like the quality of these grills,” Westfall said.

Westfall said that grills normally sell better in the spring and summer, but the store is glad to be offering the grills now.

“We’re excited to be getting the grills in stock at the beginning of the year,” Westfall said.

The grills

Emerald Leisure Source will sell the Memphis Advantage, Pro and Elite grills, which range from 970 to 1,252 square inches of cooking space.

They are 100-percent stainless steel, and they use wood pellets and electricity, rather than propane.

The grills also feature an intelligent temperature control.

The grills have won Best in Show and Best in Category Vesta Awards from Hearth & Home magazine.

The Memphis grills cost $1,449-$4,299.
