Auctioneer sells golf club assets

Golf lovers will have the opportunity to purchase more than 150 items from a former golf club tomorrow. said last week that it will auction the assets of the former Braeside Golf Club in Courtland Township, just east of Rockford.

Ada-based Amicus Management said last month that it is selling the 18-hole golf course on about 116 acres for $965,000.

A wide range of 158 golf course-related items will be auctioned: shop equipment; fleet of 70 Yamaha G22E electric golf carts; Club Car Carryall Turf 1 golf cart; '02 Cub Cadet Big Country utility vehicle; '05 Club Car utility carts; Kubota L4240 tractor; New Holland TC30 tractor; Massey Ferguson 1140 tractor; Lastec Articulator 721 XR mower; Befco Cyclone Batwing mower; Jacobson Tri-King 1800G mower; John Deere 2500 greens mowers; Kesmac KMF5G7B fairway mower; irrigation equipment; compressors; full range of small-engine grounds equipment; welders; grinders; racking; hand tools; power tools; and more.

The online auction will be held at on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The auction’s preview day will be today from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Braeside Golf Club site, at 5460 11 Mile Rd. NE. is part of Miedema Asset Management Group in Byron Center.
