Firm brokers lease deals
A commercial real estate brokerage recently completed a pair of lease agreements in the local market.
The first deal was a lease renewal for tenant Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for a 3,209-square-feet office space at 330 E. Beltline Ave. NE.
“They’ve been there for five plus years, and they decided to stay,” Tucker said.
Jason Makowski of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented the space’s landlord, 330 East Beltline, LLC.
The second lease was for an 1,800-square-foot retail space in Grand Rapids in Grand Central Plaza at 2055 28th St. SE.
Signature Associates’ Drew Nelson represented the tenant, Infamous Fitness, which signed a five-year lease for an undisclosed amount.
The building is owned by a group out of Woodland Hills, Calif., Nelson said.
Nelson added that the original lease was for an upper-level suite nearby, at 2035 28th St. SE, but Infamous Fitness “quickly needed more space” and moved into the larger lower-level space at 2055 28th St. SE.
