Furniture dealer outfits marketing agency
A marketing agency has a new office and new look in southwest Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids-based Custer said this month that it has worked with Deksia to design and furnish the agency’s new one-story space at 120 Stevens St. SW.
The project included furnishing the basement, which Deksia also works out of, said Lauren Milligan, digital specialist, Deksia.
Deksia said in May that it moved from 100 Stevens St. SW to the larger 90-year-old building down the street.
Custer said the project was intended to maintain the “industrial air of the space” and create an “open, collaborative environment" with private work settings throughout.
Custer provided building finishes and furniture for spaces across the main floor: the work café; open office area with lounge; touchdown office area; two enclosed meeting rooms; and two enclosed enclaves.
In the basement, Custer designed a second open office area, storage, utilities and a restroom.
Custer provided several types of furnishings for the space: chairs, desks, couches, lounge chairs and community seating.
Most of the products are Steelcase pieces and some are Coalesse pieces.
Grand Rapids-based Century provided the flooring work.
