Construction firm grows team
A construction firm has created and filled five new spots on its team.
Triangle Associates in Grand Rapids said last week that it has added Clayton Martin, Jacob Hendrick, Jerry Gray, Kim Smith and Nikki Allen to the firm.
Gray joins Triangle as a superintendent working with the national accounts team in Ohio
He'll have responsibilities for site mobilization, safety, site control and management of subcontractor activity.
Gray has more than 20 years of experience with several contractors in Ohio.
As a cost accountant at the firm, Smith will prepare monthly billings with project managers and act as a contact for subcontractor and vendors.
Smith worked for AIS Realtime in Kentwood prior to joining Triangle. She also worked for several companies in Oregon.
She holds an accounting degree from Linfield University in McMinnville, Ore. and an M.B.A. from Concordia University in Bend, Ore.
Martin joins Triangle as a senior project manager and will manage projects and team members from the national accounts team.
He’ll be responsible for the team’s administration, contracts, application of resources, safety and profitability.
He joins the team from Skanska USA Building in Chicago and Kalamazoo. He has also spent time with Elzinga & Volkers and Knestrick Contractor in Nashville, Tenn.
He holds an engineering degree from Western Michigan University.
Hendrick joins Triangle as assistant project manager after stints with Erhardt Construction, Family Christian Stores and Bouma Corp.
He’ll help with the management of shop drawings and submittals, along with project scheduling, budgeting and quality-control programs.
Hendrick holds a bachelor of applied arts in construction management from Central Michigan University.
As project administrator, Allen will assist project managers and assistant project managers with pre- and post-construction activities, issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders.
She was an office manager with Modern Roofing prior to joining Triangle.
