Aesthetic services center enters market
An international franchise of retail centers focused on aesthetic skin, hair and teeth services is entering the West Michigan market.
BodyBrite said yesterday that a 1,200-square-foot center will open tomorrow in Grand Rapids, at 1144 E. Paris Ave. SE.
It’s the second BodyBrite location in Michigan, with the other being in Midland. The franchise said Michigan is part of its strategic growth.
From 1-4 p.m. tomorrow at the Grand Rapids location, BodyBrite will offer complimentary mini treatments, refreshments and giveaways.
BodyBrite specializes in several skin-rejuvenation treatments, hair reduction and teeth whitening, as well as the SkinCeuticals skincare line.
The center’s hair-removal treatments are done with intense pulsed light, or IPL.
“Some who have been shaving, waxing and using endless amounts of anti-aging creams are exhausted and want a permanent but affordable solution,” said Gayle LaBine, a former nurse, who is the location’s franchisee. “Body hair and aging skin are issues many people face.”
There are more than 200 BodyBrite locations across the globe, including in Europe and Central America.
BodyBrite said another 30 locations will open in the next several months across the country.
