Construction firm adds to team
A local contractor has hired four new team members.
Triangle Associates in Grand Rapids said yesterday that is has added Karen Middleton as project manager, Clifford Hall and John Wiegand as project superintendents and Gerald Wing as senior estimator.
Middleton, Hall and Wiegand are part of a national accounts team involved in a multi-year senior living program in the Midwest.
Middleton will be responsible for managing the conduct and performance of construction projects, including administration, control and application of resources, safety and profitability.
She comes to Triangle following her role as owner’s representative for the Detroit Regional Convention Facility, the Cobo Hall renovation project in Detroit. She has also worked at Skanska USA.
Middleton holds a B.F.A. in industry design from the University of Michigan and a master’s in construction management from Eastern Michigan University.
Wiegand is responsible for site mobilization, safety, site control and subcontractor management as a superintendent for Detroit-area projects.
He comes to Triangle from Wolverine Building Group, where he worked on projects in the Midwest, Florida and New York.
Like Wiegand, as superintendent, Hall’s responsibilities include site mobilization, safety, site control and subcontractor activity in Detroit.
Hall has more than 33 years of experience in the construction industry, most recently with Bouma Corp. and Security Builders.
Triangle has re-hired Wing as a senior estimator to support multiple markets, such as K-12 schools, retail, commercial and senior living segments.
He has been with Pearson Construction Company in Benton Harbor and Alstrom Construction in Muskegon since his last stint with Triangle.
Wing holds an A.A. in science from Ferris State University and is a retired U.S. Army colonel.
