Construction firm adds to team
A local construction firm has hired five new team members.
Triangle Associates in Grand Rapids said last month that it has hired a new senior project manager, site project manager, marketing coordinators and an accounting assistant.
Three of the hires are for new positions, and the marketing coordinators are replacements.
Triangle Associates, founded in 1918, has more than 111 employees across the country and has been named one of West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For 12 years in a row.
Bill Stewart was hired as senior project manager and will help manage multiple projects within the company’s senior living program and K-12 education segments.
With more than 25 years in the construction industry, Stewart most recently worked as a consultant in Detroit and Houston.
He has also been a senior project manager with L.S. Brinker in Detroit and Skanska USA in Southfield.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
Carson Lyons joined the Triangle team within the senior living program as a site project manager.
Lyons will be involved in projects in the metro Detroit area, where she will manage the conduct and performance of projects, contract management, pre-construction activities, project scheduling and execution.
Lyons previously has been a project manager for Barton Malow Co. in Southfield and an assistant superintendent for Lockwood Construction in Bingham Farms.
She holds a degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
Hannah Pier and Anna Sall
Hannah Pier and Anna Sall were hired as marketing coordinators and will help the firm’s business development team with proposal preparation, promotions and advertising.
Pier was previously a marketing assistant with Five Star Real Estate and holds a degree in health communications, advertising and public relations from Grand Valley State University.
Sall was previously a creative services marketing assistant at Attwood Corp. She holds a degree in business administration and English from Alma College and is expected to earn her M.B.A. from Davenport University in May.
Scott Ogilvie was hired as an accounting assistant, and his responsibilities will include the input and processing of miscellaneous accounts payables, processing of check runs and maintaining non-committed purchase orders.
Ogilvie was previously a retention representative with Charter Communications and in order fulfillment with One Stop.
He graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in psychology and elementary education.
