Grand Rapids wins title of 'Best Beer Scene' in US
Grand Rapids is still at the top of voters’ minds when it comes to beer.
Grand Rapids was voted as the "Best Beer Scene" in America in a poll run by USA Today’s 10Best.
A panel of experts nominated the top 20 beer scenes in the U.S., and 10Best readers then voted over four weeks for the top 10.
Grand Rapids beer lovers united to vote the city past other cities, such as Asheville, North Carolina and Fort Collins, Colorado.
“The craft beer industry is thriving in Grand Rapids, and we are thrilled to be named the top ‘Beer Scene’ in America,” said Doug Small, CEO, Experience Grand Rapids. “Craft beer tourism is an economic driver, and we are excited to promote the craft beer talent we have in Grand Rapids.”
Grand Rapids was also voted "Best Beer Town" by USA Today in 2014 and "Beer City, U.S.A" by Examiner.com in 2012 and 2013.

Other Grand Rapids honors in the 10Best beer polls
HopCat Grand Rapids was voted the No. 2 “Best Beer Bar” in the U.S.
Brewery Vivant was voted the No. 2 “Best Brewpub” in the U.S., and the Founders Brewing taproom was voted No. 9.
Founders also saw its Breakfast Stout label voted No. 5 in the “Best Beer Label” contest.
