A “luxury outlet” in town is combining clothes, furniture and art into one shop.

Hello Again and Grand Expressions Gallery is located in a 4,000-square-foot space in Grand Rapids, at 6744 Cascade Rd. SE.

Owners Patrick Killeen and Becky Bunting first joined forces last fall in the space owned by Dr. Rick Siegal, who also owns the adjacent Cascade Animal Hospital.

The store showcases furniture, as well as photography and art from Michiganders in the front of the store and name discount brand men’s and women’s clothing in the back.

The pair also operate a shopping site for the store and offer promotions through social media.

The partnership between Killeen and Bunting started when Bunting wanted to have all her art in one location, rather than galleries across the state.

Killeen grew up working in men’s clothing stores and was a national sales rep for men’s and women’s apparel, accessories and shoes.

He acquires overstock from retailers and manufacturers and sells the products more than 50 percent off of the suggested retail price.

“My connections with these suppliers allows me to obtain inventory to supplement our pre-owned selections,” Killeen said. “We now carry a much higher percentage of new items vs. pre-owned inventory. I can bring new styles to Grand Rapids from the major brands at affordable prices.”

The furniture is acquired through special arrangements with furniture stores, but the store also accepts furniture on consignment, often with pieces from Herman Miller, John Widdicomb, Baker and Henredon.

“Grand Rapids being the furniture design capital of America, many of these pieces are one-of-a-kind,” Bunting said.
