Association for Corporate Growth honors winner of Outstanding Growth Award
A local IT firm continues to be at the forefront of innovation and growth.
Grand Rapids-based Open Systems Technologies, or OST, has been named by the Association for Corporate Growth, or ACG, Western Michigan as the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Growth Award.
OST will be honored at an awards event tomorrow at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
“This award is a testament that our company’s guiding principles of honoring our families first, delighting our clients, serving with humility and embracing entrepreneurship and innovation will lead to success,” said Meredith Bronk, president and CEO, OST.
The event will feature a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and networking, followed by a brief introduction and the announcement of winners of the ACG Cup.
The Outstanding Growth Award will be presented to OST and Bronk, who will give a presentation sharing OST’s philosophy and standards.
Tickets to the event are $50 a seat for ACG members and $65 a seat for non-members.
People can register for the event online.
The ACG Outstanding Growth Award recognizes local companies that demonstrate sustained growth in sales, profitability, employment and community involvement.
Since 2003, OST has increased its revenue by a compounded rate of 30 percent annually, according to ACG.
OST was recently recognized as one of 2015’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, and Bronk attributes much of the $160-million firm’s success to its workplace culture.
“How we treat our clients and employees and how we empower innovation are at the core of why we do what we do,” Bronk said. “Once you have a purpose, you must rally employees behind it, creating an explosive and perpetuating belief.”
OST also has offices in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and London.
It has been recognized as one of Inc.'s 5,000 fastest-growing private companies for seven consecutive years.
