Appliance maker signs deal with homebuilder
An appliance maker in the region has teamed up with a homebuilder to outfit its projects for the next two years.
Whirlpool Corporation of Benton Harbor said yesterday that it’s signed an exclusive two-year agreement with Holiday Builders of Hart to provide Maytag and KitchenAid brand products for the builder’s projects.
Holiday Builders constructs homes throughout the Gulf Coast and Florida.
Michelle Smallwood, VP of marketing at Holiday Builders, said the company was looking for a partner that could meet its construction deadlines, as well as meet its “growth path.”
“Whirlpool Corporation is the ideal partner on both fronts," she said.
Under the agreement, Maytag products will be offered in all of Holiday Builders' entry-level homes, while upscale homes will feature KitchenAid appliances.
