LPGA tournament names celebrities for pro-am
A collection of celebrities will play with professional golfers at a country club in the area next month.
The Meijer LPGA Classic announced last week the lineup for its Meijer LPGA Celebrity Pro-Am on June 14 at Egypt Valley Country Club in Ada.
The field of more than 35 celebrities and pros will take part in the day of golf in the week leading up to the Meijer LPGA Classic.
“We are thrilled to host such a stellar mix of celebrities, athletes and local personalities this year,” said Lesley Baker, tournament director, Meijer LPGA Classic.
Admission to the pro-am is open to those with a ticket to the tournament. Daily tournament tickets are $10, and weekly general admission tournament tickets are $25.
The Meijer LPGA Classic takes place June 16-19 at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, just north of Grand Rapids.
