Faith-based nonprofit hosts job fair for 50-plus positions
A local faith-based nonprofit is looking to fill more than 50 positions at a job fair this week.
Grand Rapids-based Wedgwood Christian Services is hosting the event this Friday at its main campus, at 3300 36th St. SE, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Both full- and part-time positions are available, and qualified applicants will be interviewed on the spot.
Wedgwood is hiring for 30 direct-care positions for work at its Residential Center, 26 applied behavioral technicians and two board-certified behavioral analysts for its Autism Center for Child Development and licensed master social worker clinicians for its Community Services.
To work in its residential arm, Wedgwood requires prospective employees to be at least 20-years-old, have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with an excellent record. Experience working with teens in residential care or youth camps is preferred. Candidates must also be a person of “good moral character,” and criminal background checks will be performed.
Interested applicants are invited to complete an online application prior to the fair.
