Builders map listings for Fall Parade of Homes
The Fall Parade of Homes across the Grand Rapids market begins this weekend.
The Fall Parade of Homes by the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids begins Friday and runs through Oct. 22.
The event features 27 single-family homes, 10 condos or townhomes, one remodel and three virtual homes.
Home prices range from the low $200,000s to more than $1 million.
Homes will be on display in communities across the region: Ada, Allendale, Belmont, Byron Center, Caledonia, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, Grandville, Hudsonville, Jenison, Newaygo, Rockford, Walker, West Olive, Whitehall and Zeeland.
People can see all of the event's listings and their addresses online.
"The housing market for greater Grand Rapids is hot and is receiving recognition as one of the best, if not the best, markets in the country,” said Andy Lofgren, executive officer, Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids.
“Our builders and associate members see this event as a premier way to showcase their talents, craftsmanship and creativity to those looking to build new or remodel. Every latest trend in the industry from dirt to drapes will be on display to the public.”
Homes are open from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesdays and 1-8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The remodeled home will be open for tours Oct. 21-22.
People can purchase tickets online or at Adventure Credit Union branches for $10. People can also purchase tickets at the homes for $12. Children 12 and under are free.
