A contract packaging and fulfillment company in the area has been acquired.

Jenison-based AccuServe Corporation said this month it purchased Jenison-based Paradigm Plus.

Paradigm Plus has about 10 employees, and operations will continue under the Paradigm Plus brand at the business’ location, at 6724 Pine Ridge Dr.

Zeeland-based Rua Associates, a mergers and acquisitions firm, negotiated the sale of Paradigm Plus.

Paradigm Plus is a 15-year-old company that provides secondary packaging, hand assembly, kitting, labeling, fulfillment and related services. It serves the food, consumer product and gift industries and others locally and nationally.

The company was put up for sale, so its former owner could concentrate on other business ventures.

AccuServe said Paradigm Plus’ customer base can expect to “receive the high level of service” previously provided, as well as “an expanded offering.”

AccuServe provides contract assembly, fulfillment and quality inspection on a project basis.

It said it expects to “grow its existing capabilities,” thanks to the addition of Paradigm Plus.

AccuServe has 79 full-time employees.
