A local construction firm has a new executive vice president.

Grand Rapids-based Rockford Construction named Jennifer Boezwinkle to the role.

Boezwinkle will work with Rockford President of Construction Shane Napper to manage the firm’s sales and strategy. She will also focus on industry forecasting and trends.

Since joining Rockford in 2013, Boezwinkle moved from VP of business development to VP of communications.

“Jennifer understands that Rockford’s brand extends into every aspect of our projects, and she will ensure we embody our cornerstones in every possible instance,” Napper said.

Prior to Rockford, Boezwinkle was a principal at TowerPinkster, focusing on higher education and commercial projects. She also spent time as marketing manager at Integrated Architecture and with her own firm for 10 years in Livonia and Grand Rapids.

Boezwinkle holds bachelor’s degrees in English and architecture from the University of Michigan and a master of architecture from U-M.

Rockford Construction, founded in 1987, works in 44 states and is one of the top 150 contractors in the U.S., according to Engineering News-Record.
