Car dealer completes luxury dealership
A car dealer has completed a new facility for two of its luxury brands on a major retail corridor in town.
The Sharpe Collection said it hosted a ribbon-cutting last month for the 20,595-square-foot building in Grand Rapids that houses its Jaguar Land Rover dealership, at 1030 28th St. SE.
The building combines the dealer's Jaguar and Land Rover sales efforts. The Sharpe Collection also has BMW and Mini dealerships.
The project began last summer.
The facility features a number of elements: showroom; service department; client lounge; more seating areas for customers; individual areas for private phone calls; kid zone; virtual reality system to look at future products; and more.
“The new design emphatically puts the client first in every key interaction: research, purchase, delivery and service,” said George Sharpe, Jr., general manager, The Sharpe Collection.
