Label maker hires VP of sales and marketing
A local custom label maker has named its new vice president of sales and marketing.
Grand Rapids Label said last month it hired Bill Bergstrom for the role.
He replaces John Crosby, who was promoted to VP of operations.
Grand Rapids Label President Bill Muir said the “key to our longevity and success” will continue to be embracing “state-of-the-art techniques and innovations and focusing our efforts on markets with the greatest potential for growth during this new-era technology revolution.”
Bergstrom said the company’s goal is to “engineer winning solutions by thinking differently about the value our labels can provide.”
“I’m really excited about the opportunity, and it’s an honor to be a part of such a strong brand,” Bergstrom said.
Most recently, Bergstrom served as president of Thinkwise, overseeing operations, team-building and organizational strategy during the technology and data firm’s second stage.
Previously, Bergstrom spent more than a decade as national sales manager for the human resources company Terryberry. There, he helped to build and manage Terryberry’s sales force and develop employee recognition programs for a variety of clientele.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Vanderbilt University.
