Breton Village attracts national retailer
A national retailer is setting up shop at Breton Village Mall.
The Raleigh, North Carolina-based fashion boutique Scout & Molly’s is expected to open in March 2018, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Scout & Molly franchisee Sue Yocum worked with NAI Wisinski of West Michigan and CWD Real Estate Investment to settle into Breton Village.
“When I first walked into a Scout & Molly’s, I fell in love with the welcoming vibe and fun selection of clothing and accessories that you can’t find anywhere else,” Yocum said. “I just knew it would be a great addition to the Grand Rapids shopping scene and I can’t wait to open the doors and share this truly warm, relaxing shopping experience with new and old friends alike.”
Scout & Molly’s was founded in 2002 by Lisa Kornstein and features unique merchandise at each boutique. There are now more than 40 locations nationwide.
The shop is a perfect fit for what CWD is trying to accomplish at Breton Village, said Scott Wierda, CWD managing partner. Stores at Breton Village include Orvis, Evereve, Anthropologie, Lululemon Athletica, Loft, JB and Me, Fitzgeralds Men’s Store, Jos. A. Bank., Leigh’s and Talbots.
“Breton Village is known as Grand Rapids’ fashion and specialty retail district, offering shoppers the name brands they want alongside more unique fashion boutiques — making it a destination in the region,” Wierda said. “We are thrilled to welcome Scout & Molly’s to the family and know Sue will find great success here.”
