College hires director of admissions
A local college has named a new director of admissions who has 25 years of experience in the field.
Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, a private Christian school, said last month it hired Kevin Gilliam for the role.
He began the position in May and is responsible for the college’s student recruitment programs.
“We’re fortunate to have been able to bring to Kuyper someone with the experience of Kevin to plan and implement the college’s recruitment programs,” said Ken Capisciolto, VP for advancement and enrollment, Kuyper College.
Gilliam said he is glad to be joining “the Kuyper family.”
“I am looking forward to meeting the two objectives I’ve set for the admissions office: to bring steady enrollment growth to Kuyper College and to pursue excellence in all that we do,” he said.
Before coming to Kuyper, for the past 25 years, Gilliam served in various management positions, most recently as associate vice president for enrollment at Wyoming-based Grace Bible College.
Gilliam earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Spring Arbor University in 1991.
Founded in 1939, Kuyper College is focused on training students to “make a difference in God’s world.”
The school offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in a variety of professional and ministry fields.
