Electrical firm hires president
A recently merged electrical company has named its president.
Josh Lester will lead the newly formed CS Erikson, a subsidiary of Custer, as president.
Lester brings with him 23 years of industry experience.
“We are more than thrilled to have Josh on board to help us with our continued growth in West Michigan’s electrical services market,” said Mark Custer, VP of business relations, Custer. “Josh brings years of business development experience and deep relationships that will amplify the growth and success of CS Erickson.”
Prior to joining the firm, Lester led business development for Feyen Zylstra, a commercial, industrial and institutional electrical and communications contractor. He helped grow Feyen Zylstra from $25 million to $100 million in sales in the span of 12 years.
“The combined skill sets of each company position us well,” Lester said. “And I am excited for the opportunity to align and grow CS Erickson as an industry leader in West Michigan.”
Lester holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Calvin College.
CS Erikson is the result of a merger between C&S Electric and Erikson Electric.
It is a subsidiary of Custer, a Grand Rapids-based workplace design firm.
Custer purchased C&S Electric in 2015 to support the company’s integrated furniture and technology projects. C&S merged with Erikson Electric in July 2017.
