Developer constructing medical office building
A local developer is answering the demand for more class-A offices along a medical corridor in town.
Grand Rapids-based First Companies will soon break ground on the construction of a new medical office building in Grand Rapids, at 2155 E. Paris Ave. SE.
The four-acre property will be the site of a two-story, 41,000-square-foot building.
Construction is expected to be finished late in 2018.
The building will be designed specifically for medical use and feature a spacious common area, covered drop-off entrance and snowmelt sidewalks.
The Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery will take 14,750 square feet, leaving the balance available for lease.
“After completing numerous projects along East Paris, we’re excited to kick off the New Vista development,” said Craig Baker, president, First Companies.
