ReThink West Michigan welcomes ex-residents
A pair of local organizations are inviting job seekers home for the holidays.
Hello West Michigan and The Right Place will host their sixth-annual ReThink West Michigan networking event and career party from 5:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
ReThink West Michigan is a casual, professional networking event with free drinks, appetizers and prizes.
At the event, several West Michigan companies with job openings will share information about initiatives and projects happening in the region, organizers said.
According to Hello West Michigan, in the past five years, 560 people have attended the ReThink West Michigan event, 32 local companies have participated and 52 attendees have been hired as a direct result of connections made at the party.
For the first time, the event will be held concurrently in multiple West Michigan cities.
