Ranir hires VP of global R&D
A local maker of oral care products has named a new member to its executive team.
Grand Rapids-based Ranir said today it hired Kimberly Babusik as its new VP of global research and development.
In this role, Babusik will oversee and direct all development and innovations efforts for the company.
"It's an exciting time to be joining the Ranir team as the company continues to advance and rapidly grow across all categories," Babusik said. "I'm grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to supporting the company's mission to deliver millions of affordable, healthy smiles every day."
Babusik has more than 20 years of senior product development, technical strategy and project management experience.
Most recently, Babusik served as VP of customer technical support at Nice-Pak Products, where she led technical sales and support efforts for private label and branded wipes.
She has also served as director of feminine care research and development for Energizer Holdings.
"Kimberly's knowledge, skills and experience will be invaluable assets to Ranir as we continue to seek opportunities for innovation and growth," said Greg McCormick, SVP of global innovation and technology, Ranir.
She holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
