Frozen custard and steakburger chain opens location
A new eatery is open on 28th Street.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers said yesterday it opened a new location in Grand Rapids, at 6006 28th St SE.
The location is the third Freddy’s in Grand Rapids.
“Making Freddy’s a more convenient dining option for our Grand Rapids area guests continues to be a priority,” said Joe Reber, franchisee, Freddy’s. “Our hope is that wherever you are in the city, a quality meal and dessert treat from Freddy’s will be just a short drive away.”
The new 3,476-square-foot, free-standing restaurant seats 99 guests and has additional seating on the patio.
Drive-thru service is also available.
Menu items include the signature steakburger, Vienna beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and dessert prepared with chocolate or vanilla custard.
Freddy’s was co-founded by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas.
The company has since expanded to 289 locations in 31 states.
In 2017, Freddy’s was named, for the fifth time, to Entrepreneur’s “Franchise 500” list (No. 41).
