Construction firm appoints top execs
A construction firm in the region has made three appointments to its senior leadership team.
Jim Feltch is the newly appointed president and CEO of Kalamazoo-based CSM Group, effective immediately.
He will be responsible for setting strategies and visions for the company, as well as building a culture built around trust, respect and communication.
Feltch succeeds the company owner and previous CEO Steve East. East now serves as chairman of the board.
Previously, Feltch held the position of division president for the firm’s health care and advanced technologies markets.
Todd McDonald was also appointed to the new role of COO.
McDonald will help ensure that project execution is efficient and effective and that the proper management of resources, distribution of services to customers and analysis of systems is conducted.
McDonald was previously the principal and division president for the education and commercial markets.
Julie Byrne, a 13-year veteran with CSM, was also selected to fill the new role of VP of construction services.
She will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s construction services strategies, including day-to-day operations and financial well-being of various projects.
Byrne previously was VP of pre-construction services.
All appointments were made by East as owner and chairman.
CSM Group is a construction management firm established in 1983.
The firm also has offices in Grand Rapids and Memphis, Tennessee.
