Ford 'futurist' headlining tech conference downtown
A local tech company has announced the keynote speaker for its conference later this year.
Sheryl Connelly, in-house futurist, for Ford Motor Company, will be headline SalesPad’s PANELS 2018, taking place Aug. 6-8 at the JW Marriott and the L.V. Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids.
“Participants will learn how to spot trends that may impact their industry and learn strategies for thinking like a futurist, and we encourage anyone who wants to prepare their business for the future to attend,” said Jennifer Jurgens, president, SalesPad.
In her role with Ford, Connelly identifies global consumer trends that could impact the entire company from product design to development, to corporate strategy.
Connelly is a member of the Global Advisory Council on transportation for the World Economic Forum.
