Brewery produces beer-and-brat fest
A West Michigan brewery is hosting a “little Oktoberfest” in April.
Cedar Springs Brewing Company is putting on its third annual Starkbierfest from 3-9 p.m., April 7, at 95 N. Main St., Cedar Springs.
The event will be held in a heated tent in the brewery parking lot, rain or shine, and feature live music, limited beer releases and a “sausage party.”
Featured brews include:
Küsterer Maibock – spring strong lager
Küsterer Pale Bock – traditional Bavarian pale lager bock
Big Side Rides a Buffalo – buffalo trace bourbon-barrel-aged barley wine (limited quantity)
Tim the Enchanter – Strong Belgian Golden Ale
The “sausage party” will feature festival-exclusive Michigan brats, including North County smoked sausage, andouille sausage and curry brats.
Live music will be performed by Dave Slavinski, Fauxgrass and Delilah DeWylde.
Entry is free. Guests must be 21 or over and have a valid ID.
