Law firm hires partner
A law firm’s local office has brought in a new partner.
Amy Zdravecky is taking her expertise to Barnes & Thornburg’s Grand Rapids office.
Zdravecky, who formerly practiced at Miller Canfield in Grand Rapids, will be joining the firm’s labor and employment practice as a partner.
“I was drawn to Barnes & Thornburg because of its commitment to client service, combined with the collaborative working environment across offices,” Zdravecky said. “It’s exciting to be part of the team’s growth across the nation.”
Zdravecky has focused on contract negotiations, discrimination matters, union-organizing campaigns, arbitrations, collective bargaining and National Labor Relations Board, or NLRB, elections.
Her clients have included employers in the retail, hospitality, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, food production, transportation and health care industries.
She also provides training for clients who are involved in union avoidance, general employee relations and sexual harassment issues.
She holds a B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
