The local Spring Parade of Homes is starting this weekend.

This seaon's event by the Home Builders Association, or HBA, of Greater Grand Rapids will feature tours of 66 homes by 55 builders.

Home prices range from $150,000 to over $1 million.

Homes will be open May 25 through June 9, Fridays and Saturdays from 1-9 p.m., Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m. and Memorial Day, May 28, from 1-9 p.m.

“The Parade of Homes will be featuring many trade-up and premium homes,” said Andy Lofgren,  executive officer, HBA of Greater Grand Rapids. “Some are available to buy, while others showcase the builders who are ready to build custom homes in this strong economy.”

The Spring Parade of Homes will feature homes in communities across West Michigan: Ada, Allendale, Alto, Byron Center, Caledonia, Cedar Springs, Conklin, Coopersville, East Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, Grandville, Hudsonville, Jenison, Lowell, Plainwell, Rockford, Spring Lake, Walker, West Olive and Zeeland.

Tickets are available online, at any Lake Michigan Credit Union branch and at the homes during the event.
