An auto supplier in the region is looking to amp up its workforce.

LG Chem Michigan, Inc., or LGCMI, will hold a career fair tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4-7 p.m. at its battery plant in Holland, at 1 LG Chem Way.

As battery demand continues to grow, LGCMI hopes to fill up to 70 new positions.

The company will host on-site interviews with some on-site offers.

Some summer positions are also available.

Several types of positions are available: technical operators; maintenance technicians; production engineers; journeymen electricians; and office professionals.

Applicants are asked to come in business-casual attire, bring a resume and fill out an application online prior to attending.

LGCMI is a subsidiary of LG Chem out of South Korea.
