Pet supply chain opens 11th location
A locally owned chain of pet supply stores has opened its 11th location.
Chow Hound Pet Supplies on June 30 opened a store in the Village at Knapp’s Crossing, 2050 East Beltline Ave. NE, in Grand Rapids.
A grand opening celebration is planned for late July and August.
“We are excited to be a part of the second phase of the development at Knapp’s Crossing and to be a part of the community,” said Greg Keane, president, Chow Hound Pet Supplies. “Chow Hound Pet Supplies is eager to serve and get to know pet owners in and around the Knapp’s Crossing vicinity.”
The store offers self-serve dog wash rooms; premium pet foods, treats and supplies; and knowledgeable customer service representatives.
Chow Hound also partners with humane societies, sanctuaries and other pet-related charities that serve West Michigan.
Greg and Tyson Keane opened the first Chow Hound Pet Supplies store in Grand Rapids in 1989. The retailer now has 11 locations in Grand Rapids, Standale, Jenison, Wyoming, Holland, Grand Haven and Portage.
