Aviation firm names executive
A local aviation company has appointed a new vice president of operations.
Grand Rapids-based Northern Jet Management recently announced Christopher “Chip” Schultz will serve as vice president of operations. In this role, he is responsible for leading the operations, safety, maintenance and scheduling departments.
Schultz brings more than 23 years of aviation experience to Northern Jet. He served in the U.S. Navy and has logged more than 6,800 hours of total aircraft time. He holds type ratings in A320, BE-300, BE-400, CL-65 and MU-300 aircraft.
Prior to joining Northern Jet, Schultz was vice president of operations at Travel Management Company in Elkhart, Indiana.
Northern Jet Management is a private aircraft consultant headquartered in the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The company manages a fleet of 21 private jets for corporate and personal travel.
